With reference to my Confidential Despatch

of the 6th. January, 1916, and previous correspondence, I have the homur to transmit for your information a copy of letter received from Messrs. Lowe, Bingham and Matthews the liquida- -tors of Messrs. (hs. J. Gaupp & Co. covering a letter from Messrs. Mappin and Webb, Ltd., of London, the last paragraph of which is interesting in view of the previous correspondence to which Messrs. Lowe, Bingham and Matthews refor.
